How can this page be improved?

This is a collaboration that is part of the Event Spore. Please help expand/improve it, especially in geographical and thematic gaps that are missing.--Pharos (talk) 13:52, 1 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I just uploaded a bunch of files from yesterday's World AIDS Day observance in San Francisco. I added one to the article but feel free to add/swap. Funcrunch (talk) 01:54, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Great, I was inspired to create a Template:Commons and link to the image category from this leaf (as well as to link the Commons and Wikidata pages).--Pharos (talk) 19:06, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

United Nations activities

I mostly put the various UN agencies in the intro, but maybe they deserve their own section? Then the intro could be a summary of all the most important stuff, including the UN, but maybe also the most prominent non-UN events like the Quilt return.--Pharos (talk) 19:10, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Towards World AIDS Day 2020?

Are you planing to do the same for 2020? It will be much different I guess from last with so many things being dislocated or at least reduced in terms of gatherings...Did 2019 content got copied and used somewhere specific? (guess you created some new WikiData entries) Keep up the good work! Zblace (talk) 14:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks, World AIDS Day isn't until December 1, so hopefully the situation may improve to an extent by then. There will certainly be events to cover, even if only or primarily online. I imagine there will also be medical research related to the intersection with COVID-19, as well as coverage of how HIV/AIDS social movements have responsded to the latest pandemic, and the model they have provided to the world. The concept behind this page is to expand in more detail than can be covered at wikipedia:World AIDS Day#World AIDS Day themes.--Pharos (talk) 17:29, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
December 1st 2020 is Tuesday. We should maybe do something on last weekend of November (LIVE?) or on the day? -- Zblace (talk) 12:40, 18 September 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
