Automating Spores-list retrieval

To avoid hard-coding the list of Spores, one might retrieve it automatically using a Lua script:

@BlaueBlüte very nice! Do you know of other interesting/practical Lua scripts that exists/should exists that should be useful to advanced-gardeners/spore-leads? We could organize a hands on demo/dev>delpoy session in later in September/October? I would love to be able for example to rate visibility of my own spore (for example +100 as confident for public, 0 as indifferent and -100 secretive) that could be used to render different spore bubles/word-clouds size and color? That looks great! Agree with Zblace that a word-cloud effect with varying sizes could be great. For spores with their dedicated namespaces, which is what I limited the template to, we could count the number of pages in each namespace, but this could be a bit trickier for spores without a namespace yet. Maybe they could be given a default smaller size? Chaotic Enby (talk) 19:16, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

Let's brainstorm towards that session what would be good dimensions to calculate from numbers (like pages, contributors, visitors...depth of articles?) and how to manually highlight certain qualities (like graduation-readiness, presence of documentation...).--Zblace (talk) 03:21, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
