A WikiCurious event is oriented toward people who are very new and might want just to learn about Wikipedia without necessarily a plan to edit it. These use materials developed by WMNY which are welcoming and comforting.
Supporting materials might include posters with simple worklists of articles which would benefit from copyediting, articles which would benefit from citations, and a large QR code to join the NYC discord group.[1][2]
