| Description | Transfer the default license for text on Wikipedia to Creative Commons 4.0, the latest version of the CC license. This will help improve the usability of Wikipedia text by providing a simpler and more internationally compatible license. It will also provide a valuable opportunity to reintroduce the world to the value and importance of Wikipedia's free culture license so we can do outreach to future partners, contributors, or re-users. |
