Bridget's life "surrounded" by notables is an interesting situation. What might have been her contribution to the successes of her husband and children? Wolfram Latsch's research focuses on an another obscured aspect of her (and her siblings') life in England - the fact that they had partial African heritage from their mother's side. Altogether an interesting story of which there is much we'll never know.
