DATA (Daily Activity Time Archive) was a 10 year project which operated from an attic flat in Dundee between 1980 and 1989.

Underpinning this autonomous project was a process of collating and distributing documentation on personal daily activities. The DATA project developed links with the Mail Art network, the Neoist apartment festivals and with individuals across the world. Collaborative activity crossed a range of media, involving audio, video, performance and interventions, all accomplished without funding.

Network affiliations

This is currently a raw list with a few examples. It might be improved towards a structured time and affinity understanding of how networks evolve - either through friend-of-a-friend affinity or meeting at a particular event which can be captured as its own data point.

Archives of the project are held at Artpool Art Research Center and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
