WALDO (Wikimedia Academy of Leadership and Organization)

Description	The WMF should organize a structured, continuous learning program for activists (Wikimedia Academy of Leadership Development & Organization - WALDO), allowing skill improvement in different areas, and leading to a formal certificate. Every year, WALDO would announce a calendar of workshops. There would typically be 4-6 thematic workshops organized annually, with topics systematically planned over at least 2 years ahead (so that thaere is coverage of at least 8-12 topics). Systematic planning would allow the making up of a whole para-degree program, rather than just the ad-hoc workshops that we have now. The workshops would be organized back-to-back with the movement meetups, such as Wikimania or the chapter conference, as well as local gatherings so that we minimize the cost of participation.
