To upcycle is to repurpose and make more widely available specialized Wikispore content, by a link up a level, to the generalized encyclopedia at w:Wikipedia.
The aim of upcycling is to provide greater context on certain aspects of the subject that cannot be fully treated within the standards of the encyclopedia, and it is accomplished through the use on Wikipedia of templates such as w:Template:Wikispore.
