Org:Metabase
Metabase refers to Wikimedia Sverige's Wikibase setup to support structured data and encyclopedias of the Wikimedia movement. "The hope is that Metabase will [help improve] searchability and findability of the knowledge and experience of the Wikimedia Movement."[1] It is associated with the Content Partnerships Hub.[2]
Metabase.wikibase.cloud has a SPARQL front end for queries to its data: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikidata_Query_Service/User_Manual/SPARQL_Federation_endpoints
That agenda overlaps the purposes of the Org: space on Wikispore so it will be helpful if we can find systematic ways to link back and forth between them.
The term "metabase" probably combines implicit references to what the "meta" wiki site does for the movement, and to wikibase/database software. It probably does not refer to the company or commercial software called Metabase.
