Org:Australian Census Data Tool

Description | The Australian Census runs every five years, with the most recent one occurring in 2021. There are around 16,000 localities of which about 12,000 have articles on the English Wikipedia. To make the update process easier, Wikimedia Australia engaged developer Maia Williams to produce a Lua module allowing the Australian place infobox to retrieve population data from Wikidata. The code and process can be shared and adapted by other countries and communities. |
