DescriptionChoose a single MS initiative to experiment with a tool called Kialo-edu.com. "Kialo Edu is a custom version of Kialo (kialo.com), the world’s largest argument mapping and debate site, specifically designed for classroom use. It's clear, visually compelling format makes it easy to follow the logical structure of a discussion and facilitates thoughtful collaboration. Kialo’s mission is to promote well-reasoned discussion online, and to that end, Kialo is free for educators to use." The goal of this experiment would be to VISUALIZE the branches of debate on a given topic, to make it easier for more people to jump into the debate where their interests lie. The visualization looks like this https://lftic.lll.hawaii.edu/pl/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kialo-circle.png. Each of the spokes of the wheel are interactive and represent different forks of a debate. Where a spoke ends, the debate has been resolved.
