Empowering GLAMs (Pilot - Empowering Italian GLAMs)

Description	A communication campaign inviting all cultural institutions to contribute to the Wikimedia projects by adopting an Open Access Policy and approach. The communication campaign improves Wikidata, contacts all national institutions and invite them to contribute to Wikipedia and the Wikimedia project by releasing 20 images and a text in CC0 and to sign an Open Access Policy. Further institutions are contacted to invite them to open a selection of their collections and 5 case studies are invited to implement an Open Data Management Plan on all their content. The project is implemented as a pilot experience in Italy
