Template documentation

About

This template can be used to link to the most appropriate page for a given Wikidata item. It links to the first of the following sites that have a matching page:

1. this wiki;
2. Wikipedia;
3. Commons;
4. Wikisource; or
5. Wikidata.

The template returns a wikilink, often to English Wikipedia, suitable for a line in an infobox or inclusion within article text.

Usage

{{wdl}} is a shortcut.

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.
